Computer Fax Program.

Hello, Does anyone know of a program, or how to send faxes through the computer.
l use wireless router for the net.
Don't have a home phone line.
Any ideas.

there are many sites that offer free email to fax and fax to email service
in other words you send it to them as an email
and they fax it for you kinda
just look for email to fax

Same situation here. You find something let me know. A lot of people are electing NOT to have a Home phone anymore these days. With the cell you don't have to be at home to get your calls.

most free email to fax will want to put an add on your cover page, or you can pay like 50 cents to 1.99 for no add just do a google seach for Fax but read there whole websites before you commit

Nice if you want receive only. SEND, requires monthly Subscription. I don't know how much it costs elsewhere but here's an idea. Here in the small town of Marsing, ID it costs 10cents per page at the public library to anywhere in the Continental U.S. :)

If you have a printer with fax capabilty, you should be able to send faxes. the printers usually come with drivers for faxing. you will have an extra printer in the control panel under printers you simply right mouse click on the fax printer ,set it as default printer make your fax and enter the phone number and it will dial via the internet. hope this helps
