i use 102 and the 105 for years now ,i even have 1 plugged into power bar and running sv360 off it.i have had good luck with them myself.

I would need two in order to work with my receiver correct?

yes you need 1 for router and 1 behind each reciever

I use the 102's as well, they work great, no issues at all.
