Should be a good fight my question is why is the rematch in puerto rico? Shouldn't it be in mexico or the us. Hopefully they don't hand the fight to lopez.

Lots of newcomers, young Boricua boxers getting involve here. Although not all fights will be televised,we'll have some good ones to watch. Salido seems to be ready and so is Juanma. Get ready for a war.

I think that it was part of the contract singed on the first match. No need to worry about that, it wont go the distance.

I dont believe it will go the distance....Juanma really blew a great apportunity when he lost to Salido to Face Yori Gamboa, the fight was allready made all he needed was to get passed Salido, I was looking forward to that fight but Sh*t happens.
Should be a good fight. I am pulling for Salido. He brings a lot of action to a fight and he is one tough hombre.

Should be a super fight either way guys... I like both fighters.... but as I have posted in the past, once a fighter gets hurt
or k.o.ed really bad, it might become a mental thing...
Looking forward to it...
Anyone out there have a internet stream for this? DTV charging $35 bucks... Thats absurd.

Gentlemen, THIS IS WHAT WE"RE ALL TALKING ABOUT!!
This Bout to Me So Far is The Top of The Year!....What Huevos from both pugilists!!...Hope Gayweather can display the degree of determination these two showed Tonite on His showdown on May 5th....Not!!
Credits to both fighters, but my Heart was with Salido for showing a True Champion's Attitute, taking a fight Whenever, Wherever!!
JuanMa showed the Determination but with All the Advantages He Had in every aspect, Salido in my cards was winning almost every round!.....Too Bad JuanMa screwed up His Legacy by trying to blame The Ref at The End, which We All See He Was Way Gone The Moment That Deadly Uppercut Landed!!...Sore loser Attitude!!
We Got the Pleasure of a PPV without shelling out 50 0r 60 bucks for It!
What a Fight!!...Now Salido is Going to Spice Things Up on This Division!!..(Rubbing Hands Up)

Super fight! might be fight of the year!
But what were the judges thinking????? terrible!
Got to say,, disappointed in Juanma saying the ref was on the take.
He woulda gotten killed if he got hit one more shot... even his corner came and grabbed him.
Great fight though... big huevos on both of em! Salcido just has Juanmas's number thats all.
Viva Mexico!!! ha ha ha! (from a pocho)

My paisano needs to shut up, Salido does have his numbers. You can't beat someone you fear. Cheers for the Mexican warrior, he is a old pugilist with a lot of guevos, that's important for a true champ.

Both Fighter came with a Repertoire of Support, but Did You All Notice Felix Trinidad's reaction at the end of the bout?....He wasn't showing the fist that much anymore!!...
Salido showed more Guts & Nuts from beginning to end, and proved Every point that there was to be Made!....The Rican-Mexican Rivalry just Gets a bit more Spicier Now!

You were right it didn't go the distance.. That was funny Juanma blaming the ref for the knockout and thinking he was dominating the fight....

Well said Fib... Juanma gotta be a man and just say,,,, "Thank God the ref stopped the fight... I was already seeing Angels"
He looked like me coming out of the local tavern...
Salido showed lotsa class giving Juanma credit and then giving him a big hug.... AND fighting in P.R. again.
Sorry to see Juanma's family have to see him take a beating like that though.. most fighters don't want the family there. Its a cruel sport.
To Juanma's defense,,,if he decks Salido with that punch EARLY in the round, i think he beats him... Salido was hurt pretty bad..
knockdown happen at the end of the round.
Juanma has to stay away from Salido... reminded me of when Foreman kept knocking Frazier out..... and Liston kept knocking Patterson out...
Great fight though.. that was an old school fight eh boys?

Salido/Juanma 3
Told you right, I'm gone tell you more.........
We'll most likely see a third fight, in Mexico.
After all the mess that Juanma started, the commission will investigate and rule tours a third fight, you've all seen the judges card.
There's still money to be made with this two fighters and they shall decide to go ahead and make some more. hehehehe.
I am not shocked by the Judges. Actually I was expected a score like that. It isn't anything against Puerto Rico, it is just one of those hometown things that seems to be happening way to often lately. Hats off to Salido for showing how you deal with hometown judges.

Yeap,if you notice the only Rican judge had it even, others had Juanma ahead. It's a hometown thing. Now, you did see Salidos face, can't say he looked better than Juanma.

Great fight, hats off to Salido who had the courage to fight in Juanma's home turf. He looked impressive in the win, despite getting knocked down. His style will be tough for most fighters.
Hats off to Juanma for taking the fight. Takes a lot of courage to get back into the ring with a tiger like Salido. He tried to box Salido, but the pressure eventually got him in trouble. Not sure another fight with Salido would be a good idea for Juanma.

Took a lot of courage to get back in the ring with Salido.... but would take a lot of stupidity to do it again.
Same thing would happen. Doubt he will do it...
Did you see Juanma's neck go from one side to the other when he hit the deck? Looked like the dame in the Exorcist!
Keep away from Salido Juanma! You can't beat him.

agreed, i think it could be his last fight if juanma gets in the ring with salido again. i didn't see the neck twist, but i get the way you described it. bad internet feed, between chop and low quality i missed the details.

It was a great fight guys.Kudos to Salido for a great win. I was to upset as a fan last night to post. Not with the output but with comments directed at the ref.Today Lopez offered an apology to the ref who has not accepted it.Ppl would wonder if the fight was going to get robbed if it went to the cards.Lets remember the worst place to fight is in mexico and also salidos ppl wanted the fight here as the payday was bigger.Maybe now Salido can make some money in mexico after this performance.
