The price for ipad2 it's the lowest now on bestbuy and fututreshop website because of the new release of iPad3.
You must hurry if you want to grab one before it will be sold out.

I know the price is cheaper for an IPad 2 by like a hundred bucks. I have the 2 and will not by the 3 because I have the 2.
But if you do not have a 2 and are planning on buying an IPad, for the extra 100bucks you might as well buy the three.....at least thats what makes sense to me

Unless the the 2 is at some ridiculously low price, why would you not get the newer model?

if you got the cash for a 3 may as well get a transformer prime. it's a better tab if you ask me. that's if you can find one. the only thing the ipad3 has that is better is the screen but that's it. i have both an ipad3 and transformer prime and the prime is better.

Do you find the heating on the 3 a problem ?

i did notice the heat right away, it's very obvious. i really heats up fast only when you're using it so when it's got the smartcover ON and sleeping, it remains cold.
can't get a back cover for the 3 because no one will give it the green light to use an ipad2 back-cover.
oh well, gotta be more careful.

i have zero heating problems on my 3. it does get just a little warm but not hot at all. but i have herd many folks saying that thiers do get hot.
