DENVER - The first stop on the Peyton Manning tour of NFL suitors looks to be the Denver Broncos.

The Denver Post reported Friday that the team sent a plane to Miami to pick up Manning at his home while John Elway, the vice-president of football operations, coach John Fox and general manager Brian Xanders watched Oklahoma State's pro day.

The plane then stopped to pick up the Broncos' contingent and flew back to Denver, where television footage shown by ESPN appeared to capture Manning getting off the aircraft.

A four-time MVP, Manning was released by the Indianapolis Colts on Wednesday, who balked at paying a $28 million bonus on the quarterback after a series of neck injuries.

Perhaps a half-dozen or more teams are seriously interested in signing Manning.

With the D, running game and offensive line- Manning would put the Broncos over the top. Maybe he could actually show Tebow how to throw a football.

Good point Costa ,, I was thinking the same thing ,,
plus can you imagine Tebow's development under
Peyton Manning's instruction !!

It's a win win for Denver ,, they get a kick ass quarter back
who eventually retires ,, but not before ,, he teaches Tebow to throw .. LOL

Would be awesome Terisa, it's been a while since my Broncos have really been in contention and Peyton could do that.

It all sounds good, but the media and the fans would nitpick every dropped pass. Don't forget, Peyton would have to learn a new offense and be without his favorite weapons. I think he would be better off at a team that did not make the playoffs last year.

Miami would be a solid option, they are interested but we'll see if they cough up the $

If I'm going into my last few seasons as a pro, warm weather and them tanned booties
would get my attention.

Arizona Cardinals have everything that a superbowl team needs...Except a QB..I highly doubt peyton will go in that direction. But ya never know..

peyton is done--if there was any chance he would be able to perform the colts would not have let him go he would make a great QB coach but the money will be a lot shorter than if he was to play

Not to worry my friend....Reggie Wayne is a FA this year...he`ll be following Peyton Manning wherever he goes..guaranteed. This little tour is much more than a Hi, What have you got? tour. Manning already has in hand everyone`s stats re offensive lines etc etc and he`ll study them well before each city he visits. Then he`ll want to know their plans on the draft and any FAs they are planning to purchase. Then as part of the pkg he`ll ask for Reggie Wayne.
I hate to break it to you Bols..........it`s gonna take more than Tebow on his knee to pull this one off in Denver. The thin air may well help that throwing arm but the cold will hurt his neck. Denver is a no-go.
