adding a new skype account?

I am trying to add skype to my ipad2 and as soon sa you touch the icon is asks for user name and password. i don,t have a skype account so i can,t go further. how do you add a new skype account or am i sol?

go to skype.com and create an account.

never thought of that but went on my laptop and created an account then used that account info and that worked.
