I have a wrt160n v3 and I see there is no way to adjust the transmitting power.
I was thinking of installing dd-wrt so I could have more control and options on my router.
there is lots of info out there about increasing the wireless range but what about reducing it?
My router is centrally located in the house and I was wondering if I could lower the transmitting level so that the wireless would only be available in the house...thus not needing any type of wireless securiy.
what would some of the negative issues that might arise from having the transmitting level lower than normal be??
