all usb port not working on window 7

Gateway netbook with Window 7, all (3) usb ports not working. Check with device manager on usb, a yellow triangle come out beside usb root hub. Check with usb driver, is working properly. Without usb ports can't run DVD drive to re-install Window 7. Thanks in advance.

These problems are typically caused by damaged drivers, regardless if it says that it is working. Try updating the driver.

find your drivers online.

It can A) find online as MJ420 indicates, or B) let it look in Windows, System, Systems32, Drivers, (browse, its similar to that).

If you did a recent update, or manipulated in some form or fashion, rollback your driver.
