Hello, I have a universal LNB pointed at 58. It has just one single output. Can I use a switch to run it to more than one receiver?
Or can I use a switch to run multible sats. to one CW700? I tried with a SW21 but that didn't work.
Maybe I need a new LNB with 2 outputs? Thanks

To run 2 receivers you would need a LNB with 2 outputs, you can't split the output of a LNB. You can use the sw21 switch to combine 2 satellites on to 1 receiver.

I would get a new LNB, you can get one with 2 to 4 outputs, just be sure it's a linear LNB, and it doesn't have to be a universal.

Thanks Guys,
I tried the sw21 without good results. I'll have to get a different LNB. I just get nervous changing anything on this dish. 58 is the one sat I can't find without someone else helping.

Depending on where you are located a dual linear lnb would be advisable. There are som tp that can be picked up with a universal lnb but not too many.

Just put some witness marks on the mast, satellite mount and elevation settings with a black sharpie, this way you can get things back to normal if things get moved.
Take some photos of the current setup to help re-align the new LNB to the correct skew.
