Hey BUDddies, can't wait to get out there this spring and do some dish maintenance.
My reed switch probably went bad in my jack. Besides Skyvision anybody in Montreal area carry these buggers ?
Right now I'm parked on AMC3 (87 W), which is fine by Me (pun intended hehe).
I have been negligent with my motor - I've never put a boot on it, so there is considerable rust. I know parts wear out- let's hope the gears haven't gone !

Miss my France24 and Ion Plus classics.

Happy Spring !

I tried to repair my Von Weise & it was cheaper to buy a new actuator, so I left it all alone & put on an old 18" I had

You can try my bud Roger at rpssat, he's in Vaudreuil and he caters to the big dish. You might also want to try kijjiji for a big dish as the motor is usually still attached. Before doing anything check your wire connections as an error message usually means a wire is loose- especially on the back of your positioner.
