I bought 4 Axing switches thinking they were a high quality diseqc switch which they are. What I found out it was not compatible with my Nfusion Phoenix. With my Limesat Ultra & Viewsat Ultra I have to keep rebooting these receivers in order to get these switces to work properly or if I switch channels from a diff sat. I have to reboot the receiver. I also have them hooked up to 3x4 multiswitches so I can run 4 receivers. The question I am curious about are these switches more compatible for European receivers. Also are there any special settings or hookup that I have to do for these switches? If I have to buy a different brand of diseqc switch, which brand would be a good qulity switch. I haven't had good luck with Chieta heavy duty switches or EMP Centauri switches. Thanks, any help would be much apprieciated.

Others use Axing diseqc switches with Nfusions with no issues. It sounds like you are having some type of problem with your coax or connections.

It would be good if you could give an idea of how you have all these switches connected. Do you have your cabling grounded?

The only difference between a Diseqc 1.0 or 1.1 switch and a Diseqc 2.0 switch, is that the Diseqc 2.0 switch will handle the bi-directional communications from a Diseqc 2.0 device, the Diseqc command lines sent are sent back down to the Diseqc 2.0 compatible receiver, those return commands will be reporting the state of the LNB or motor conditions.

They have yet to come up with the Diseqc 2.0 LNB, or motor, it will tell the receiver how it is as far as DC voltage at the LNB and LO drift, current load on the motor, and stuff like that there.

The Diseqc 2.0 switch is fully backward compatible to Diseqc 1.0 and 1.1 commands.

I have 3 3x4 switches each connected to 91,110,119. From there I have 3 Diseqc switches each coming from the outputs of the multi switches from the 3 3 sats that are hooked into the 3x4 switches. All open ports are sealed using 75ohm terminators. I have no ground so that is probaly the problem. I see no where where you can attach a ground to the axing switches but I see where I can ground the Zinwell 3x4 swtches. Grounding the Zinwell switches would that be sufficent enough or do I need to ground more? Thanks
