Will this work for 5 sats one receiver

I am using dish 1000.2 to diseqc port 1 for 119 port 2 for 110 port 3 for 129. Then I have dish 500 with a sw21 switch for 82 port 1 91 port 2. Can I connect the sw21 to port 4 on my diseqc or would this switch, EMP 8x1 Switch, work better? I am only running one receiver.

It all depends on what LNBs you have, is the 1000.2 a triple LNB or are there 3 separate LNBs, and the dish500 is it a DPro twin, DPP twin, or 2 DP LNBs or 2 legacy LNBs.

The SW21 won't work too good with the Dish Pro Plus type LNB's, and the EMP won't work too good with the Dish 1000.2 LNB, you would have to go back to the older Dish Pro type LNB or just 5 DP duals, then the EMP 8 x 1 will work, or 2 Diseqc 4 x 1 switches, then you need an ECODA SW22 switch between them to your receiver.

Also your receiver has to have the Diseqc 1.1 switch protocol in it to use any switch with more then 4 input ports, check your manual, or look in your satellite setup menu for a Diseqc 1.1 option.
