ps3 yellow screen

i have a ps3 slim, when i turn it on all looks good and then a yellow screen comes on the tv with the ps3 logo then
the logo goes away and all i have is the yellow screen with stars, has any one seen this problem with the ps3.

i have fixed the yellow screen problem, it was a failed update.
this is what i did, with a true PS3 controler with the usb charge cable, with system off, press and hold the power button and the
eject button on the front of the PS3, you will hear 1 beep then you hear 2 beeps let go of the buttons and you will get a window
on the tv, then press the PS button on the controler and go to system restore and press the X and let it load, after that you can
now update the system with new firmware.
