This Guide is to be used for Setting up the FreeSat 800HD Receiver for the 1st time.
Preparing the FreeSat 800HD Receiver:
1) Remove Receiver from Box
2) Remove the Cover Mounting Screws
3) On the Right Centre Side of the Motherboard gently remove the HD Module, by lifting gently at both ends so Module lifts straight up.
4) Install the SK200 Module by lining up the Module to the 4 aligning Pins and push in firmly so both plugs on the Module are seated
5) Reapply the Cover
6) Plug all cables to the receiver and TV and turn it on with Rear Switch
7) Install 2 AA Batteries to remote and press the STB Button, STB Button must Light up
Loading the Firmware
1) Download, extract and Copy the FreeSat 800HD_HD4 Bin to a USB Stick
2) Insert the USB stick to the Front or Rear USB Port
3) Click on Menu
4) Scroll left to Info/Upgrade Screen
5) Scroll down to Software Upgrade Screen
6) Choose the correct Bin and click OK
7) Wait till Firmware upgrades and for receiver to reboot on it's own
Setting up Receiver
1) Click Menu, scroll Left, Left, Left to System Configuration
1) Choose your Language of Choice
2) Set up the Time
3) Set up TV output
Antenna Installation Set up
1) Click Menu
2) Installation
3) Antenna Setup
4) Choose the Satellite you wish to Set-Up
5) LNB Freq - for Circular use LNB Freq. For DP choose the correct OCS-DP Option
6) Choose the correct Diseqc Port
7) Choose the correct TP Freq
8) Make certain you have S and Q signal and have Proper Sat Lock
9) Scroll down, click OK on <Search All>
10) Click OK to Save when Scan is finished
11) Go Back to Item 4) for the next Satellite you wish to scan in
Network Set-up
1) Menu, Scroll Left 4 times till you get to Edit Screen
2) Click on Network Settings
3) Click on Network Setup - Set to DHCP and Ip and DNS should Populate
4) Menu, Network Settings, click on Server Settings
5) At Server 1 (p$ one)click Green Button to Open and Blue to Apply
6) At Server 2 (p$ two) click Green Button to Open and blue Button to apply
7) Click on CH 101 and you should have Picture
8) Click on CH 200 for Picture,
