Can the KBox PROdigy be used for BEV?
My friend has KBox PROdigy with a Ver. 4 hub and wants to use it for BEV.
He is in a condo that doesn't allow any dishes on the balcony - so he is stuck with the BEV dish on the roof that all condo units use to get 91 and 82 SATs. The switch shows as SCD-2P3 on his ViP receiver - and a google search shows that a SW-64 will show as a SCD-2P3 on some Dishnet receivers.
I couldn't get his DreamBox 500-S to work with this dish - so he's hoping his KBox will work.
On his DreamBox it appears that it locks onto some transponders and the Streaminfo shows the Video and Audio PIDs - but he doesn't get any picture or sound. The same box works perfect on an old 18 inch DTV dish pointed at 91 with no switch.
I think the KBox has support for a SW-64 switch.
The KBox 104 file says that it is for Dish Network only.
Is there any file that can be used for BEV 91?
