hey guys looking into an apple tv 3 generation I have no clue in what this box does but was interested in expanding my testing option. now from what I gather this box can't be jailbroken to get movies or tv channels for free. could anybody talk me into this thing or out of this thing for a complete noob on this thing lol :)

there is no jailbrake for it yet but the first and i think even the second gen can be so if your considering xbmc it will not happen for sometime with a third generation apple tv.Quote:

you can install xbmc on pretty much any platform including android phones so it dosen't have to be apple tv infact apple must be jail broken were anything adroid dose not need anything done to it hope this help you some cheers.
look into android tv box which is a lot better and faster then apple tv which it has been done for you, also do some googling about xbmc which will make your life easier. you can set it to your liking whether tv or movies, ample choices. Have fun and have patience.
