Question about UK programing in US

I am interested in getting certain European channels in the US, any possible way to do this. Channels are ITV Sport, Sky Sports, Canal + any other soccer channels that are used in europe. I was watching a live stream the other day and somebody had a FTA receiver with these channels will post some screen shots with the FTA receivers menu can anybody tell me what i would need for something like this to work in the US

You can only receive sats that you are in the footprint of, an FTA receiver can't see a sat pointed at an area on the opposite half of the earth, it would work if a north american sat picked up those channels/feeds and were rebroadcasting them but otherwise you would have to stream those european channels online to get them.

Google "Lyngsat" and you can see the different sats and what areas they cover.

Use iptv or XBMC i use simple tv to get all that you mentioned and more like Bein
i use my htpc and or laptop to playback on my tv.Stream quality will vary but many are in hd.
