Platinum or Phoenix to replace ulta

I don't know if this is the right place to post this:noidea: , but I am using a VS Ultra to receive a Private server, and it quit working . I have a VS Platinum and a Nfusion Phoenix in the closet . Anyone know if I can use either one of those receive a to replace the Ultra, and do I need X-FTA with them .
