Never heard of the nano3 but the nano premium is junk..at least mine is. Was doing pretty good but now has a freezing problem. dug out the old sonicview 360 elite and immediately the freezing problem went away. Just to verify, hooked up the nano premium again and same freezing problem. 360 in the stream now, nano premium collecting dust.
