Need help on using the Dishpointer pro

Hello
Using a dishpointer pro on the android cellphone.
Got some questions:
(1) There is cross line on screen of the cellphone below the arc of displays of satellites,cross line with line on the right side and on the bottom of cross line there numbers moving when moving the cellphone , what is cross line for and numbers for?
(2) The dishpointer pro each satellite name has a Dot in front of satellite name , So here is the question when facing cellphone camera at a house roof if Dot clear roof does that mean dish satellite can be at that height as same as holding cellphone height?
Where can I find more information on how to use this dishpointer pro.

I did try a lot of dishpointing apps just to realise that a only a decent (not very expensive) compass is most reliable instrument.
