How to restore Mag254 to factory

Since the Mag254 does not have any buttons on the box itself you will need the remote.

1. Remove the power.
2. On the remote you will see a round button to the bottom left of the "OK" button with the 4 arrows on it. This button has 3 lines of dot and dash.
3. Press and hold this button, pointing the remote to the front of the Mag. While doing this connect or turn on the power.
4. The unit will power on with a blue screen and menu choices.
5. On the screen for the load mode, make sure it is not DHCP but nand.
6. Then choose "OK"


When It loads It will be in factory mode and at this point you will need to completely re install everything again. But it does recover from a locked up unit, for what ever reason.

If any one can improve on this, or explain more about this sequence, please post. I know very little about this unit, but will try to pass on what I know!
