Hi everybody,I have a dish 1000.2 with sat 110,119,129 that works great , but I have another dish (91,82)
That I would like too hook up too . I thought I could plug in the cable from my sw44 to the input of the dish 1000.2
But it's not working , any help would be greatly appreciated

You will have to isolate the two systems, use a 22 KHz switch, one side with 22 KHz off will equal the 1000.2 system, the other side with 22 KHz on will be the BEV system.
And the reason it's not working when you plugged in the other LNB's, is you can't use more then 4 DP LNB's on the Dish 1000 system.

Use two DPP44 switches, one on the D1000 side, and one on the BEV side, you have to connect the outputs of the Dish 1000 LNB as follows, LNB output #1 to the LNB input #1 on the switch, the same with #2 and #3, on the BEV side output #1 and #2 the same way, you use the #1 reciver ports on the switch for the power inserter, this needs to be on it's own coax, the other 3 reciver ports can be used with FTA receivers, use the 22 KHz switch on each outputs to go between the two systems.
Make sure all switches are to a common ground.
Wouldn't the use of the second DP44 switch depend on the type of LNB's being used on the Bev side ?Quote:

An SW44 is a legacy switch, it will NOT work with a DPP Dish 1000 system.
And yes Mavrick, the LNB's on the BEV side need to be of the DP or DPP type, if they are the legacy type (that use DC control voltage to switch transponders) then the whole mess with/may not work together correctly.
And sorry kids my old eyeballs did not see the SW44 in the first post, that presents a problem.
To get this to work correctly all attached LNB's must be of the same type internally, and old system with the SW44 will not work correctly with a new system with DPP type LNB's.
Once connected the two systems may have crosstalk from leakage of the 22 KHz DiSeqc switch control signal in the coax shielding and the control signals from one with cause problems on the other side, this is why lots that try this with mixed types of LNB's always have problems.
If all the equipment is of the same type/brand then there is less of a chance for problems to pop up, and propper grounding of a multipul system like this is a must.

Here is something you could try that might be alot cheaper, get rid of the 2 single lnb's and the SW44 and replace them with 1 twin lnb and 2 SW21 switches. You also might need some A/C or a DN sub connected to port #1 of the 1000.2 to supply power......see diagram below.Quote:
