Help Please, Limesat Ultra Loader

I'm really new to this kind of thing so bear with me, I had no problems with this limesat before but it was dropped, and now its messed up. Im trying to load the factory file using the loader cause I cant use usb, as it doesnt work and Im not sure how to use the loader. Im using a usb to rs232 adapter and I have that checked. Im not sure as to which option i choose

Download S/W
Download Data
Upload Data
or
Download key

I already have the file opened in the loader but if I choose Download S/W it says Connection Failed
And if I click Upload Data it just stays at 0%
