For Birdog users

DishNetWork Western Arc March 18, 2018

Dishnetwork Western Arc files are being updated.
DishPro 110 currently locks
For Dish 119, use the following in custom carrier:
LNB: 11.25
Carrier: 12252
Symb: 20000
FEC: 7/8
LNB: 13V
IQ: Norm

The file for 129 is currently not locking, ETA fix is Mon, March 21, 2016

Any feedback on that 129 sat. I have tried to find a "official" forum for the USB4Plus but all I've found is their download site, no discussion. Thxz in advance.

USB Plus and earlier models will not lock on 129. Those models do not have the capability to find turbo 8PSK signals.
If you can find a tp on 129 that still has QPSK signal you can use custom carrier and enter all the info yourself. I'd do it myself, but my USB plus has been a dust collector since I bought the Ultra model.

according to jameslong there are only 3 spotbeam tps that are not turbo 8psk

So I guess it is time to hang up the old bird dog well I am trying to remember how long I have had it I am thinking like 2005 maybe earlier lol not bad for 350.00 bucks

Ultra users please see info on Ultra page of this website.

All Non-Ultra Birdog users:

2 New files have been added to the very bottom of the "Avaiable Satellites' list on the Configure page:
Dish 119 (DiSEqC A)
Dish 110 (DiSEqC B)

Please try these files in addition the files listed below

New files for DishNetWork 110/119/129 have been added to the "Named Services" section of the pick list on the configure page.
These files are notated with *New 2016*

Also try the new '119 DishAlaska file' as it is locking in other parts of the US.

If you have a satmeter then there's no need.
I have an app on my phone, and don't find it accurate at all.

Which satellites will you be aiming at? If you want if for dishnet, bell, or shaw I would pass on it myself.
That one looks like an older model, the usb plus and ultra are marked as such on the panel.
