Changing MAC address on box

Hello,
I purchased a Global Media Box 3 months ago. I subscribe to IPTV with a Service Provider (SP). I found another SP close to home and cheap. I would like to change the SP.
When I took the box to configure it won't let me change the MAC address on the box. Is there a way to change the mac address, how do I change my SP?

I need some help. Someone please reply, I am desperately trying to change the SP.

You don't change your Mac addy.
You did not say if you were changing to a different server or just changing who you were buying from

Get the current provider to release the mac address.

I am not sure of the server, are GoldTV or CrownTV servers. if so, then I am going for the same server GoldTV which I had previously, the provider will be someone diffferent.

As Noof mentioned in the 3 message. "Get the current provider to release the mac address" The current provider may not release he mac address. then what are my options. I am trying to contact the provider by phone it goes to voice mail, no reply for the past 2 days.

Any help would be appreciated.

One more question. Is it possible to install apps on this unit. I would like to install STB Emu app on the unit and change the mac address on the app. It is possible?

no its not possible

MyTV has a sharper better picture on the tv screen than the STB Emu has.

just wondering how to change MAc on Global Media box, i.e. transfer iptv services from buzz box (xpl3000) to Global Media box?
In other words, I would like to try the iptv service that is on buzz xpl3000 on Global Media Box by simply chnaging GLobal Media box's MAC to buzz box MAC....is that possible to change the MAC on Global Media box or not once you buy Global Media box, the MAC that comes with it is not changeable?
