Would there be any difference in picture quality with Avov Online+ vs Mag254 box on a server? girlfriend has the mag box, and the picture for basketball is terrible compared to Iks, would the Avov Online+ be any better, I own one but don't use it, or are both units a little to old compared, to current units; like the Buzz XPL 3000 or Dreamlink T2?

You can't go wrong with a Buzz 3000..

I already have 3 running here and they are amazing. Like I said, a buddy asked me if I could get his avov working or should he just get the 3000. Ive never ran an Avov box before but I know they are on their way out like the 250 and 254.

So the older AVOV boxes are still working, I gave my old one, to someone to sue, but she says it no longer works, is there and update? I purchased this probably 3 years ago, the redish looking unit.
In my opinion you won't see much difference in picture quality between an Avov or a MAG254 - I have several of both and really can't tell which I'm using.
The service you purchase is going to make a difference.
I prefer the MAG254 for one of the services that I am using - it has over 8,000 channels and for some reason the Avov locks up after a few minutes of use.
I love my Buzz box and it is the only box I recommend to my friends now.
