Hooked up a terrabyte hard drive to the box and the box wouldn't, read it,changed to a USB stick and no problem.Sure would like to use the hard drive. Is there a reason it won't let it see the hard drive?

Does the hard drive have it's own power supply?
Is it FAT32?
It has been awhile since I had a T4, but I recall flash drives used to shut off during playback or recording as the receiver required the hard drive to be powered by an external power supply.
I also thought they could only read up to 320 gigs, maybe create a partition?
Has to be Fat32, which is why 4gb and under are recognized, Fat file size = 4gb or less
unless the drive is powered.
I'm using an iPro 1.5tb drive (ext power) on my T4 - works perfect.
Also have used 16g USB stick with no problems.
Thank everyone.I,ll check my format.
It was formatted to some other crap.Got fat 32 now, will test this weekend.
