days are Numbered..
Well my poor Allie girl days are numbered..
Allie is a 10 year old springer, she hurt her hind leg, so I brought her to the vet and he diagnosed her with a torn acl
said kennel her up for 8 weeks and maybe it will heal up.. well 3 weeks later her hind leg has ballooned up, so I brought her back in seen a different vet she rite away said that is not a torn acl she has some thing else going on so I agreed on xrays 5 minutes later she says I'm sorry your Allie has bone cancer and it has deteriorated most of her leg bone..
So today I had to make that call and get the appointment for Friday to have her put to sleep.. oofda
It's hard to deal with, just so much love!
At least I get a few days to pamper her up :thumbsup:
now the other hard part have to go start a fire drink a few beers and thaw the ground out so I can dig a hole and bury her here at Home!

The pain of losing a pet is unbearable.The older I get,the more I appreciate how precious life is.As tough as it is, you're doing the right thing.
I hope the pain of your loss passes quickly, & you find room in your heart & home to perhaps save another animals life with adoption.

Aweee Putski, your Allie girl has such loving, gentle eyes
They don't call them SPRINGER Spaniel for nothing though do they. Bounce around everywhere all the time lol
Such great memories you have of your girl and you can spoil her so much more this week.

Well I spose to bring her in today, but Wed morning the 15th was not so good for my Allie, so I made a call and the Vet got her in asap..
It was tough but I felt a big Relief knowing that she wasn't hurting any more!
She was a good hunter a great listener loved to cuddle and she was good at looking over my chickens lol a bird dog that would not mess with my hens..

Really Sorry for your loss as i had to put my best friend down a few years ago & i still miss her a lot .
