recording problem

3900 with internal hard drive. I used to be able to record programs manual schedule or just hit the record button with no problem. The box has decided to record to internal memory which is short (like mine). I have done factory reset, formatted the hard drive multiple times, setting it up as internal storage, removable storage all to no avail. It still will not record to the hard drive.
Removable storage under menu-pvr it shows with just under 1 tera available. Probably a setting I am overlooking. Any one give me some guidance?

press record and scroll down to where it records to
what does it show?

USB/ SD device USB#1 I do not know how to change that.

Ok I have no problem with that. How do I get the box to record to it? I have tried several times to day to record and it will just use internal memory which last about 15 minutes. Is there a setting somewhere that I have missed to redirect the recording?

I have mine set to removable storage and all recordings go to that drive

I'll try that again. First I will remove the hard drive cycle the box reinstall the hard drive and reformat to removable and see what happens. If I still have problems I will come back.
