I just need to confirm if I'm loading my server info properly into the 4900. I'm assuming that I go to "Server Settings" then to "XC API Login" then "Add XC API Login" enter URL, Username, Password, save then connect.

Yup...........that works on my 4500.
Am I also to assume that I can install both mac based and password servers without any conflicts with each other? (eg. 2 mac based and 2 password based)

When you go into the server settings screen, you will see on the top right the URL to use on your PC (which is on the same network), in order to be able to create entries from your browser (MAC.XC or M3U). Keep in mind that this mini-web server portal to create server entries is ONLY active when your box is in the server settings screen.
