having a power button on the box is a good idea
Sweet. Looks like a great bump to an already existing great budget box (the E5 - which has been my most recommended budget box to people in the last few month).
From quick glance, twice the RAM, twice the onboard storage, switch to a BT remote instead of IR, and upgrade to Gigabit Ethernet. + + + +
Anyone looking for more specs/pics, it is already on the Buzz site:

time to charge up some AA batteries :)
Well, got my classic today
As usual with buzz, the packaging was pretty nice. All the accessories at the bottom of the box (Remote, USB A->C cable, USB power brick, HDMI cable and a set of batteries [and once again, they were energizers, not any no name brand]). Then there is a perfectly folded carboard separator on top of it, and then the dense foam on top with the square cutout to hold the box snuggly. The box itself is also pretty solid (which is typical of all buzz boxes - except the B5 which is pretty thin in comparison). See contents in pic below.
The power button on the side is pretty discrete, and a nice addition (see pic below). I was afraid it would be similar to the push&latch power buttons which ASUS had installed on many of their routers, which eventually fail to latch. But I was pleasantly surprised to see it was just a nice soft touch push button.
The power LED on the front panel is behind the black matte surround, and it not too bright at all. There Power LED is Red when the box is off. Power LED turns Blue when the box powers up. To the right of this LED there is another Green LED. It is off when there is no network connection. It turns on (green) when there is a network connection established (wired or WiFi).
The box out of the gate came with FW: V20230120 And BuzzTV version 5.0.796 and running AndroidTV 11. I did not notice it take any updates (unless it downloaded them before I checked). One strange thing I noticed was in the Settings->Device Preferences-> About -> Status screen, the DEVICE MAC ADDRESS shown, is that of the WiFi. So if you have WiFi disabled on on the box, it tells you that it is "unavailable".
(EDIT: looks like the X5 also does the same for the MAC address). No big deal, just something to keep in mind.
The box comes with the BT-250 remote which includes an air-mouse feature which works quite well if you have an app that needs it. The pointer speed was a little too quick for my taste on a small display, but you can slow it down from the BuzzTV Utilities->Remote Control app, which is where you can also assign the colored buttons also. When the mouse/cursor is enabled, you cannot use it to type on the onscreen keyboard, you need to disable the mouse cursor and use the DPAD to select the characters you want.
I installed a few VPN clients on it (since nowadays it seems to be the new reality with many services), and they all worked well, and no perceived slowdowns. Setup 2 services and no issues with either of them. Channel changing was very quick (as expected - since the E5 was quick also, and this one has more ram/storage also). Installed all my usual apps on the unit, and every one of them behaved as expected, and pretty snappy overall.
Will be pretty busy for the next 2 or 3 days, but will continue to test it closer to the end of the week.
Thanks Buzz, nice job again.
