I used to be able to record aa channel and watch another and then that stopped. It says creating thumbnail and then flashes up record failed?
I don't know why it stopped because it used to work.

mac or xc api?
if xc api how many connections for one account?
xc api only one box
but how many connections?
you can verify that in menu/settings/account info
I just recorded yesterday while watching a different channel
plus I've downloaded several vod while watching live tv
what stream format are you using?
do you have one button record on?
are you at version 5.0.893?
