switched to ifc and no freezing there as well
I run a vpn and everything n it does freeze sometimes really bad I have calls from 5 different people just today alone and they don’t even no each other so no one could be making it up. Try bravo tv or any soccer channel and red zone
Been watching the jays game ,have yet to see a freeze
Have you reported the issue?
It’s not just today lol I been having complaints all week I just was wondering if there’s an update or something getting fixed I messaged herk with no reply. It’s multiple users getting this issue which didn’t have an issue before and I’ve witnessed it when they complain.
OK3 I have not had any complaints from any of my users.
OK4 is the usual (here in Quebec at least, with one of the major ISP and it's flanker brand), where they often block completely during prime time and sporting events. But with decent VPN, usually solves the problem. Those using other ISP have not complained and I've even poked some when those with the specific ISP have issues, just to cross check.
ok3 has been rock solid for me here in African jungle :)
Running solid here. No complaints from anybody all day
It’s a formula z10 android box it uses mytvonline app. 800mpbs
Speed is not the only factor. Stability is more important than raw speed.
I have customers with 20Mbps internet and thinks are solid. Others with Gigabit, and constantly complaining.
Can be anything from crappy WiFi (router, access points, or even just location of the router which can make a difference). The service may be throttling and causing slowdowns. There can also be all sorts of jitter or packet loss caused by a variety of factors.
A high latency is not a huge issue for stability. It just means that channel changes may be a little slow and vod may take a little longer to start. But once they start streaming, they are fine.
However if there is all sorts of jitter, it can kill your iptv experience.
Once quick test is to run some online jitter test, like this one:
You can watch it over a period of a few minutes. Watch the bar graph over time as it monitors the ping times. IF you have any occasional spikes in the graph over time, then that usually would cause freezing :)Code:https://ping.canbeuseful.com/en#ping
Not saying i f this is pretty stable, that your connection is perfect, but if it is not, then you know there is an issue.
Like I mentioned in previous posts, some ISP are starting to block (at least for OK4). It would not be surprising if some other ISP are starting to throttle also (but I have not heard anything from any of my users/friends, that OK3 is affected so far).
