particles in the water system

I have a kitchen-aid ksra25f refrigerator and coming from the water system is little white particles in the drinking water and the ice maker,i replace the water filter from the fridge and replace the water line from the main water system but i am still getting particles in the water, has anyone had this same problem with this model fridge.

Check your filter on machine.

According to appliance repair sites, that is caused by the molded plastic reservoir being broken down by the chemicals used to treat the water. You might look at the link and see if they offer a retrofit kit.
