Many out there may be having problems with the 110/119/129 satellite combination using the D1000.2 setup from DN.
I have a solution.
This is how to modify an old Wild Blue internet dish for good reception of the 110/119/129 satellites.
Attachment 10801
Step 1. Remove the TX/RX module and the secondary reflector from the dish LNB arm, set the skew to 90 degrees.
Attachment 10804
Step 2. Mount a 3 way LNB holder from DN on the LNB arm using a couple of 2 1/2 inch #8 pan head screws .

Step 3. Attach the 2 or 3 LNB’s from DN (Dish DP, DPP or DP+) to this LNB holder and rout the coaxes to a DP switch.

Step 4. Using Dishpointer.com enter your location information, select the multi LNB option for 110 119 129, and zoom in, then align the dish and peak it on 119 west using TP 12457R, this TP has 1 open FTA non HD channel on it. (DN FYI channel 101)
Step 5. Once peaked on 119, adjust the skew to peak out the signals on 110 and 129.
Once done lock everything down nice and tight.
This mod gives about a 20% increase in overall signal on 129W, this dish is designed for the “Ka” band but has higher gain in the "Ku" band then the D1000 dish.
Happy testing and experimenting to all.
P. S. Try using a linear LNB in the center position of the 3 LNB mount, this dish will work great for the linear birds, I have tried it on all that I can see from my location, and have not seen a drop out on the weak ones, this may be location dependent as to the signal improvement.
