Question for the TV series during the day its good but why at night time it takes forever to load and sometimes does not load, only seems like its around night hours seems slower than usual that normal thing with this IPTV?

I don't know which servers are used for the catch-up, but I find the last 2 weeks at least, catch-up has been a toss-up. Some nights it works perfectly. Other nights, it does not work at all. And cases like last night, it seems to work in the beginning and it starts, but then every 5 minutes it hangs for 30 seconds or so. And the longer you watch, it get's more and more frequent, and eventually I just gave up since it would freeze for longer than it played :) Tried multiple channels from Canadian and US categories, just in case.
The few nights that it did not work at all, I figured servers were down for maintenance or something (since I usually use it between midnight and 2am EST to go back and watch some of the opening monologues of the late night talk shows).
Guess we'll have to wait it out.

Where is "catch up" in a BuzzTV box or is that the live channels with the right arrow with a circle around them?
Series freeze here too but live seems fine.
When in channel list, if you select a channel with that "right arrow with a circle", then right on the DPAD to see the Program guide, you can typically go back 48 to 72 hours and you can select OK on a previous program and it will play that.Quote:

Catch-up working for anyone tonight ? Tried 2 CBS channels, ABC, and COMEDY network, and nada...

And panel shows me as being online for "-2s" when I go try to play with catch-up. Shows hls_arc which is good, but it does not start, left it for over a minute.
EDIT: Of course, I played with it for 20 minutes and didn't work. I get up and post about it, then go back, and now it is working :) Well if someone did something, thanks. Otherwise, oh well :)
I had to re-download the wicked app and to my surprise it has a new look . How do I update the old app for the new one? I did try check for updates but it said I was up to date

Yes I too have observed that Catchup is not working well these last few months with BuzzTV v5.0, so I’d like to try it instead on our WickedTV ported/patched version of IPTV Smarter’s for Android OS11 because as I recall in the past it always worked better on Catchup channels

I think after that BuzzTV update to v5.0.940 on 09/26/2024 we started having minor issues on CatchUP channels which I use frequently.
That’s when I noticed the Catchup channels started having buffering and freezing loop problems,
This is why I’d like to try our older Android patched WickedTV version to see if it’s more stable and not just a server or Provider issue
I lost it when I upgraded from a 4900 to a U5 because BuzzTV utility does NOT allow direct image cloning from one older model to the next newer model, which means you have to reinstall all your older 3rd party apps if u saved them on external USB thumb stick.
Also,
Catchup channels do not work smoothly or properly on iPhone version of Smarter’s Player Lite v1.1.6, you have to press “NEXT EPISODE” to start the show.
But, (the rest of our IPTV live channels all work well), so I think it only will work smoothly or properly on native Android based devices.
So what’s the current best recommendation for an Android based patched version of our WickedTV IPTV player and best port (2086 or 25461) assignment too and URL download link specific for it please??
