Do a default install old dns files do a default then install all the files the 10 steps or files up to 5.04
I'm at that stage too, i have the system update notice, but I can't find the 5.04 file...
Anybody help here... thanks...
missin my porn in the bedroom...lol
Ya, I have been trying to load the factory bin back on the router, but all I get is ttl=100. when I would do the
ping -t command then try to load the bin with Lynksys tftp file.
I even tried to do a "PUT" command.
Both tries would say complete, but it still wont come out of the power light blinking fast. I have tried dozens of times both ways.
It seems as though the goo system, even with the"Goo for Dummies" tutorials, can be very tricky to implement. Granted when it's right it works good(especially for the Nuvenio HD) but getting there can be a interesting ride! I've known, heard of, a few people who have bricked there routers though.
The 504 system seems to work fine for me even though there is only room for two providers. Although the NOI was all there was at one time, Goo and 504 are vast improvements over the NOI and the dedicated computer system.
my two cents
AHHHHHHHHHHHH success at last. I have A Solaris that would not work on anything NOI, goo, extreme bins, nothing. Apperently it was the Nfusion factory U17 bin, which was causing all the grief. This is what I did to get it going. Finally ever since last June I've been trying to get it going.
1.Load the boot_r3x_to g3x_v1.33.bin file in BOOT mode.
2. Load the boot_g3x_to r3x_v1.23.bin file in BOOT mode.
3. Load this file u48 factory file from July 2009 in MAIN mode.
4. Load this file next... boot file v.130 also in BOOT mode.
5. Lastly load this file 090928 sol phoenix sd v153 1 (Maintenance release) in MAIN mode.
5. Then load newest file which is nfusion-154.2-255.bin, for NOI or goo3./ Or load your favorite Extreme bin. In main mode
Watch your receiver while putting in the bins. After 100% make for sure it says Up da then good. If you don't get that do that step again.
Of course do this at your own risk. It worked for me.
There is the nfusion 69 file that is working without computer or router setup. For sd receivers only.
alsome the bin ikspr5.02 is working 100% up
i followed all the instructions that was posted to load nfusion solaris listed above did all the ps info sats and everthing still getting update error i dont want to use noi or any router method i just want a stand alone method..can someone please walk me thru this to get it up n running thanks in advance..
why does file 5.02 work with my solaris but not my Phoenix
Everything work good till after (6. Load the file named nfusion_factory_U17.bin in BOOT mode.)and when O load the - IKSPRv5.02.bin - or the- IKSPRv5.04 .bin - It shows something like (( 900G )_ on the receiver display , and the receiver freezes up ,then when I put the nfusion_factory_U17.bin in again I get back t menu . Am I missing something ?or is there an easier way to get the phoenix to work.
is 5.04 bin still working
