Hi FN59. error 775. I've checked the cable power at the Satellite dish and I'm getting 21v.

That may mean that the internal switch in the LNB may have gone bad, as the receiver is not getting a return ""I'm OK"" signal.

Do you have a second SWM LNB?

Do you know anyone else with a DTV system? If so then I would also test the receiver, see if it is working correctly.

No it would be a tough one. I'm in Canada. My neighbor is an American with a cottage down just the road from me. He comes down on weekends to hunt and fish.

Borrow his lnb see if that makes a difference. Also look inside the connectors, if there's any rust stains then replace those connectors.
I had a chance to check for voltage on a Directv receiver. There was no voltage output from the receiver when it is set up for a SWM lnb.
