I guess I have no choice to get the speakers or sound bar to make the sound work again on my LG Oled

Soundbar is the Best way to Go, since your HDMI port for sound maybe Hooped or a different TV
You have to get sound from Jynxbox "TO TV" first, how you output the sound from TV can been done by
the different hookups you have (audio-out). The other way would be to hook like a dvd recorder in between
Jynxbox to Recorder out to TV or some kind of video/sound switch hub, something like this:

HAVE to find which one is the problem first J-BOX OR LG, Try hooking the J-BOX to another TV with HDMI
ONCE you know which one is the problem, then proceed from there on "HOW" TO make it work.
I don't have a J-box, have a SV8000, just offering suggestions on what May Work

toslink won't work if the TV isn't getting the digital audio through the HDMI

the problem is the jynxbox when i connect the jynxbox to another tv the sound work great except my LG TV i dont know why a month and a half ago the sound was working great but now its not

the sound has to come from the jynxbox

so if your jynxbox has an optical out connector then you could use a toslink cable to connect the jynxbox to a soundbar

Were you able to figure this out. Lol, My friend has this exact same issue with his 65 inch LG Oled.

Try a different HDMI cable, this thread is 4 yrs old.
