Agree....Many friends are/were Mag users but since we tried the buzz 3000, no looking back. Even the guide works way better.
How is Buzz 3000 with kodi ?
This announcement should be "Sticky"
This is amazing news! Want to send my thanks to everyone on the OK2 team! Kick-ass job :D
Is there an actual date for the implementation or over time? Just want to let me friends know who have Mag 254 boxes when their screen will go black.
Is this happening this week?
Guess I’m screwed with my raspberry pi
Do we know how it will happen? Will the entire system go down for a period of time or channel by channel? Is it a "flip of a switch" type of change?
well that sucks I just bought a mag 254 and a year of ok2:grr:
So from what I have read OK2 will run on the Buzz xpl 3000 using the h265 technology
Me and my people are ready lol
Everyone I know has Buzz boxes and global boxes.
I haven't seen a difference yet so I can assume the upgrade hasn't started yet. Did anybody get a confirmed date during the week for the service upgrade? I am looking forward to spending time with the wife. :(
Already answer it
The MTL locals are all h265 at 576p. They are the only ones that have come up as h265 in my 10 min of channel surfing.
they look good on the buzz box and dreamlink t1 box. as for the avov tvonline+ its all black. I guess that box aint gonna work with the new h265 stream unless some update happens from avov. The specs claim that it does h265/264 but its wait and see.
Thanks
seems like people here are just pumping up buzz boxes , gonna wait and see what happens, or just change servers
Loaded the tvonweb from the market on the avov tvonline+ and MTL channels are back but video delay probably due to the lack of memory etc . Avov needs to update the built-in tvonline app before it can be used for h265.
Hello Everyone,
Does AVOV VIXO2 support h256?
Thank you in advance
If your running an older mag you may find that this server isn’t the only one that will be implementing this approach. It’s only a matter of time before the other do the same.. besides ipguys most will embrace the change. Your talking about a box that’s close to 5 years old now with outdated specs and runs choppy on servers that have more then a thousand channels l. Enjoy it while you can it won’t last forever now that the 300 series is out
I'm switching from Mag254 to a new android box and will use stb pro which I have installed, I've watched the tutorial explaining how to enter OK2 http address however which I've done. My new android box has a different MAC address to that of my Mag254 should I change that MAC address to that of the one assigned to my Mag254 and if so will ok2 service work and do I need to notify ok2?
If so how do I do that as my seller was tbird who has retired.
Any help would be appreciated as I don't want to disrupt my service or go dark this week.
Thanks for ur help.
WOW
this OK2 guys seem to be on the cutting edge of ITPV technology
no wonder is the most discussed sever on this forum
first time i saw it , I was impressed with with video quality (When comparing it to cod123 and IPTVEXPRESS )
I have an old MAG250
I guess i will not be buying any mags anymore
BUZZ seems to be the way of the future
Is buzz ready to use like mag boxes, just enter the SERVER URL and it starts working ?
or does it need to load an APP like stb emulator ?
Does OK2 work with ROKU , Firestick , SMARTV ?
Mag 250/254 boxes need to be upgraded to newer Mag boxes....Mag 256-Mag 410 models will work.
which of the MAG boxes that are available on the manufacturers website are ready for this new technology H265 ?
So does this means all the owners of mag 250 and mag254 will stop receiving OK2 services and will force them to switch to other more friendly IPTV services ?
There are many people that do not care about HD quality or getting better service if they have to purchase another device
they will rather switch than fight the power like the song says
will the more primitive servers will get more customers with this measure ?
Does AVOV VIXO2 support h256? I looked at the box but there is nothing on it.
Thank you in advance
