Yes I was telling my friends the same thing Cobra when the X is next to there name I will believe it, that 4-1 lead in that game gives me nightmares to this day, and after that Nonis and Company set the team back another couple years, by thinking they had a contender in Toronto.... Well its not really blame as its more or less they signed those guys as part of the core but in reality Kessel is a secondary piece, and Phaneuf wasnt a Captain, but a damn good number 4 dman, so when they got rid of them they got Marner and Matthews and starting to put together a good core of young good players. if they would of kept both they would of been picking around 16th overall and would not got the talent to be a contender in years to come....Quote:

The Sabres played like they wanted to win the Leafs played like they expected to win....guess who won? Anderson was pulled on the recommendation of the Sabres staff because the Leafs doc hadn`t made the trip but he was seen dressed and leaving the building with no one aiding him so it appears at least his removal was a precaution......at least let`s hope so cause McElheeny isn`t the answer going forward.
