Its the name of the game for one, and for two 3 weeks interrupted service is worth it???? you watch 2 movies when up most subs have payed for themselves...or 1 UFC and mnths of service has payed for itself.....look up packages of providers compared to what your getting for the peanuts your paying and do the math. Sounds to me you need a real sub if you want freeze free tv......just my opinion

really tired of getting constant complaints and pm's about being safe and anonymous etc. and everyone blaming servers/resellers etc. it takes a little bit of homework above and a little more time on end users time and voila your anonymous....seems no one wants to wait or do some finger searching and preparing ahead....moneypacks and pre-paids still leave a trail even if your using a fake name etc.....i posted this with links for peeps to maybe get on board this process to make things safe for all involved as can be.....theres a little thing called the silk road on bitcoins and they deal in some really shady stuff and is a interesting read if anyone wants to check it out as well.....it just shows how anonymous bitcoins are and somewhat untouchable if they let that service go on....not promoting this (silk road) kind of thing at all..just interesting reading....

I agree W.U. seems to be the safest, but you do take a chance of losing your cash.. But everybody wants PP now days.. I would've went with satlobo months ago if not for that.. I may try opening a fake PP account..

I mentioned bitcoins in a much earlier post. Are sellers/resellers interested in taking these now? The major downside to using bitcoin is the wide fluctuations in market value (i.e. recent arrest of Ross Ulbricht). I think bitcoin has major potential, but wide "exchange rate" fluctuations will hinder its progress as a currency.

Not sure about all IKS servers, but the ones that use 95epay as their payment handler do not accept Visa gift cards unfortunately. From what I have read 95epay only accepts Visa cards that are issued by a bank to an individual on a billing cycle. I think it has something to do with them being located overseas. Visa gift cards say "Valid only in the United States" on the front of them. That's just my opinion on the reason though, I could be wrong.

what about western union, they can be sent at any walmart (at least in canada)

i use fashionpay and they send me email ask me about url i send to but i not respond and name on c.c. is bogus. i still get code.

So can we get a summary of all the IKS re-sellers who will accept bitcoins ?

I expect some/many of us would be willing to jump on board and purchase via this means,
but only if the re-sellers will accept payment this way.

So... which re-sellers accept bitcoins?

Just my opinion, but I think people are crazy using bitcoins. The value is too volatile at this point in time. One day they can be worth $800, another day $2000, another day $400. You could end up paying a fortune for a simple P$ vs just using more traditional methods.

I know another one on here - Kalimantester. They offer 5 or 6 providers and bitcoins accepted on all of them, in fact encouraged.

Personally I just can't bring myself to have confidence in a currency with no legal justice system backing it. In a system where a small minority of unknown persons control the majority of the currency. You may not want to meet those persons. But to make a donation, that's fine.

I do accept and trade them....and you don't need to buy a full coin if there say $800...you can just buy .125 or .05 of a coin.....then do your trading so to speak.....takes a little longer for stuff to go through but worth it for being anonymous .... just my opinion.....

Ruthie, outside of FTA discussion, but do you personally mine bitcoins still, or is it too inefficient now that so many people are doing it. A few of my buddies used to be heavy into that awhile back. Two recently switched to mining lite (or light) bitcoins. I think they are $20 for 1 coin currently. The few guys that still do it, just do so with normal PCs with fairly high end video cards. Don't know anyone that buys those fancy things that are specifically designed for mining bitcoins (fairly expensive $1500+ to get started up). I personally thought about it in the past, but just don't trust the system at this point in time. It is neat though. Right now without a super powerful video card (aka one that is over $500), it is not really worth it, since you are say using and being billed "X" kWh on your monthly hydro bill having your comp on 24/7 mining, to make "X" fractions of a single coin. Canadian hydro rates are quite high too, which hurts your "profit" margin.

No have never mined them .....just accept them for trading purposes....but always just keep a few in there....lol not in to it big like others...

The Mexicans dont accept bit coins and they have the best servers and the least likely to get raided;)

Anyone ever use Mpay or Alertpay? I think they are non-US, may be an alternative pay option. I have used them for some recreational purchases :innocent:

I am thinking, this could be great idea. How about paying through poker accounts like pokerstars or other poker rooms.

That requires both parties to have accounts. However, not everyone plays poker.

I would like to know this as well. Don't want to go through paypal, don't want my name associated with this kind of transaction. With Beav, a vanilla mastercard prepaid card did the trick and it was clean.

Find a re-seller in the US who takes them. You can also use them on Paypal with a phony account.
