Well, that did solve the issue but the picture wasn't that good so he is going to get the component version.
Thanks for all the help!

i wonder if the video buffer or hdmi ic chip has anything to do with this problem the T5 suffers from :noidea:
Tried the fan on top of the receiver and still does it have new power supply have another on in the bed room rock solid never has a problem (what is the voltage and amp for the power supply that you guys are using)
The problem TV is a Vizio and the tv with no problems is a older LG don't know if that's a factor

You need a power supply at 12v 3.5-6 amp for the T5 to operate properly, and also how much equipment
the Box has to power-up (dishes,LNB's,long cable runs,HD Module, etc. etc.) You should also have cooling measures
in place (FANS) to keep the components inside from Over-Heating. if you are using HDMI For hook-up the cable
Spec's for the Vizio to T5 have to match (1.2 1.3 1.4 etc.) and in some cases you might need a booster/converter
of some kind, cause some T5's have the WONKY HDMI PORT, I have one with it and I had to hook-up with a
Component to HDMI Converter for mine to work right.
i use a 12v 6 amp. my coax run is only like 60ft at the most. i use dish pro lnb so not much power needed there. fan installed on top using power from inside the dream itself.
I'm using a similar setup:I have a thin 12v 80mm fan mounted on the iside of the cover.I'm using the 3 pin connector near the front left corner of the mainboard. It's 5vdc, so the fan runs slower, but very quietly.Still nice & cool, & it looks factory.I have 7 units out there all the same config. We use 4 & 5 amp power supplies with good results.
Mine keep rebooting by itself every 15 minutes.
I replaced the powersupply for 12v 5a, replaced the hd module, I have a fan on it but not connected to the box.
Does it since couple of weeks, I got my box for about 5 years.
Any idea?
Take the HD Module out & see if it reboots on a SD Channel.
when you replaced the hd module did you seat it with the white arrow on the HD board pointing to back of receiver ?
Failing that then I would say you have some Failing capacitors or Bulging ones on the PS Board
This maybe worth a try: https://www.satfix.to/showthread.php...otloop-upgrade
Also how Old is the Power adapter you are using with the T5 ?
Without the module, it rebooted like once in 24 hours and blinked 2 times.
I'll try the bootloop file.
