I am not into guitar players but i saw this kid on youtube
Sungha Jung. This kid reminds me of 'August Rush' the movie.
He can play and makes it look interesting.

My idols were and have always been Eddie VanHalen, Randy Rhoads and a little bit of Malmsteen....Not to take anything away from the OP list as they all have influenced my playing greatly and all are worthy of recognition....Let's us not also forget Liona Boyd...She is absolutely one of the best classical guitarists in the World (If you appreciate that kind of Music).....

Well this kid is very good also.....

I found this in November of this year but there was such a uproar that I did not post. Uproars are good but people were comparing their last years list to this year, with some guitarist raising or dropping by as much as 60 spots on the list.

I do not have the link for the "uproar" comments, lost it, but I am sure that it can be found..
