Okay, I don't really follow Nascar, DD wanted to get me in this last year, I guess I will give it a shot this year, I read the rules, I was a little confused, but this thread cleared all that confusion right up, thanks for all the questions and answers by DD and EyeQ..

It is kind of like fantasy football , but with racing... your driver doesn't have to win the race to get points, but of course, it sure helps...lol... list driver and car number, 3 from tier 1, 3 from tier 2 , and 4 from tier 3..

I pick Ricky Bobby to win it all :tehe:

hey there - was heavily involved in fantasy pools and Nascar was one of my favs but lost interest last couple yrs - this one would be fun...is it too late? thanks

No, not at all. The way we do the points here you will have the option to catch up.

You get the points that are given to the drivers that you pick. The better you pick the better your points.

Also we reset the points for the start of the chase, so everyone gets set back to zero....but you get bonus points for each week that you particiapted, for each week that you won, and each week that you scored a perfect 10 (which no one has done!)

Read the NASCAR Pool rules, as all of this is spelled out in detail there, and also gives you an example of how the drivers are divided, and how many to pick.

In other words....dive right in this week end and stick with it. We had a few that missed a race or two last season and finished right near the top of the points.

thank you so much...looking forward to an exciting season...been away too long and lot of catching up to do with newer drivers and all but should be good fun...i cannot believe i stayed away from nascar for so long, its a hoot to watch. lol
