was really looking forward to watching the stanley cup finals tonight but guess thats not happening
It should be on CBC, or you can watch it on OnHockey.tv (live streaming)
Many people live in rural areas where IPTV is not available. DSL speed is limited to 1mb (which is not sufficient for streaming) due to the distance to the POP. Starlink is often not an option for others due to tree coverage and terrain. Some IPTV solutions are simply out of reach for lots of areas. Even LTE internet is out of reach for most of the country, there are countless dead zone all over the country.
Satellite TV works because it utilizes a spot beam that can be pass through a line of sight, potentially through trees. Starlink requires unobstructed views to the entire sky.
you are misinformed on how starlink works ... the antenna is fixed and looks almost straight up ... ... the satellites move in a specific pattern past your antenna ... when one satellite is moving out of your reception another has already taken it's place ...
well you don't know the rules
kill the live link
especially since link gives this
Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead
lol ... I used a sandbox to check out your link ... while it doesn't appear to be malicious I still wouldn't trust it :)
I am going to assume that you fired up starlinks app and couldn't find a suitable location. If that's what you did, then it's possible that all is not as it seems?
I did the same thing and ruled out getting a starlink because I thought it would be a waste of time the app always showed too much obstruction. A few months later my sister and her husband showed up with their RV. They had a starlink so I told him that it probably wouldn't work. He set it up and within minutes was downloading at more than 100 mb.
The app isn't all it's cracked up to be. You need to be able to see a cone of approximately 110 degrees of clear sky when looking straight up. I don't know your situation, it's certainly possible that you can't use one. I just thought I would share my experience because I immediately ordered one and have been a happy customer for a couple of years.
now you need to kill the live link
guess this server is done would have been nice for the seller to give an update
Thats prolly why I can't get into my panel then. Too bad. Was a good service while it lasted. Thanks Frigidaire!
