Digital Video Broadcasting - Satellite - Second Generation (DVB-S2)
Most FTA satellites use DVBS.
Your receiver needs to be setup properly to receive it, it is used for HD signals and is some times 8PSK modulated and can handle MPEG4 compression a bit better then DVBS, as it has 30% more bandwidth to work with then DVBS.
