low signal
Hello. I have been having issues with connecting everything together to watch tv. Before I thought I had good signal with my lnb and just lo quality, but I actually got a decent signal detection because of my international lnb signal. So either all the lnbs I am getting are bad or something else. The latest lnb i got is the dish network dp pro twin lnbf 110 119 connected to a viewsat receiver. I get 0-27 signal strength and 0 quality. The lnb is hooked up to a dish 500. It is a little rusted at the edge. I have not changed that out. Please help.

To many issues here, where are you? What are your settings? Viewsat needs a dongle in order to hook up a server. So where are you? More info..........

I am in the southern US. I have a satellite 500 dish connected to the dish network dp pro twin lnbf 110 119. That is connected to a disecq switch. I have another dish connected to an international lnb to the same disecq switch. The switch is connected to the viewsat ultra. The viewsat ultra is hooked up to a computer with the rq-sssp client server.
Here are my settings:
LNB Type: OCS-DP
LNB Frequency: 11250
22KHz: On
TP Frequency: 12224
Port 1 for 119 Port 2 for 110 Port 3 for international

I have this switchAttachment 22507 brand new. The lnb is not communicating with the receiver somehow. The lnb is new, unless it is bad. The switch is new, unless it is bad. The cables and receiver work with the international lnb so I assume both should work with the new lnb.

The DP Pro LNB has a second LNB input on it, you can use that instead of the external Diseqc switch.
The switching will be the same, but for the international LNB the setting should be 10750 not 11520.
And for the TP frequency on 119, you wont get anything on that setting, the TP for 119 should be 12457 R, it has the "Dish 101" channel on it, this will tell you if your aimed correctly.
Your settings should look like this,
LNB Type: OCS-DP
LNB Frequency: 11250
22KHz: Off
TP Frequency: 12457
Port 1 for 119
LNB Type: OCS-DP
LNB Frequency: 11250
22KHz: Off
TP Frequency: 12224 (TP 12224 will work for 110.)
Port 2 for 110
LNB Type: Standard**
LNB Frequency: 10750
22KHz: Off
TP Frequency: 10750
Port 3 for international
**What international satellite are you looking at on the second dish and what type of LNB is on it?

SO this is one lnb I have Attachment 22515. I need a disecq switch to connect this lnb and a different lnb to the receiver correct?
And this lnb Attachment 22516 On the left side is for 2 possible outputs directly to receivers and the right side I can connect an international lnb so no external switch needed?
Am I understanding it right this time?

On the top LNB you will need an external SW34 or SW44 switch to add an external LNB.
On the bottom LNB you wont, the second "F" connector on the left by it's self is for a second external LNB.
However....Adding a second LNB to the bottom one may/will put you over the 500 mA power limitations for most FTA receivers.

If I connect both outputs to a switch to one receiver, will that mess anything up? Plus I seem to get a better connection if I have the 22 Khz ON ? Is that ok?

Both outputs on what type of LNB?
If they are all Dish LNB's (or Bell) then the 22 KHz on or off will not matter, the 22 KHz is used to switch a 22 KHz switch on or off, or change a "Universal" LNB from one band to the other, it should have no effect on any of the dish/Bell DP type LNB's.

Right now the rq-sssp client connection is good. I have adequate signal strength and quality strength, but no tv.

I have a cable directly hooked up from lnb to receiver but no video/audio, autoroll processing. These are my settings. Rq-sssp client server ready. I had to put 22Khz ON because I couldn't pick up 110. If I have 22Khz OFF I would catch 119 when I was trying to connect 110. Am I missing something??

Well your settings are correct for that LNB.
And does the coax sat "Rated to 2.5 GHz" or "Swept to 3 GHz on it, if not then that could be a problem, the coax has to be of the higher frequency response then the old stuff used for an old legacy LNB.
Just for grins and giggles try TP 12224 on 110, see what that does.
This may be a software problem in the receiver, I can't help you with that.

I actually cannot get anything at 12224. I thought the type of cable would affect mainly the signal strength, not whether video/audio would exist or not.

Thye coax used with a DP or DP plus LNB will affect the transponders, if the coax will not go high enough in frequency response the "R" or "V" transponders will be weak or missing, TP 12224 is an "R" transponder, so go look at the markings on the coax, check all coax from the LNB to the receiver.
TP 12224R on 110 is a CONUS transponder and should be a strong one.
