Report C Band Feeds Here!
I know there are many members on this site that have or use buds(big ugly dish) so I decided to create a sticky for all members to report these c band feeds.
Feeds- wild feeds are temporary transmissions like live sporting or news events. Many sats have open transponders for such events, the trick is to catch them when their being transmitted. Some feeds can also be quite comical, especially reporters who don't realise that they are live.
Requirements- in order to receive these feeds you will require a good blind scanning receiver(coolsat, pansat, traxis......) and a bud. Some c band transmissions are tough to pull in so I would recommend a 10' bud. A motor or actuator is also essential since these feeds are scattered over many sats.
Once you start picking up these feeds, you'll find it almost addictive. I personally scan all c band sats from Telstar12 at 15w to Amc1 at 103w. Where you live is important because there are limits to what part of the Clarke Belt your actually going to track.
Enjoy folks and happy feed hunting.
