110w is locked in.... 95 signal and around 80 quality. I've done multiple scans with different setting and still no sd ppvs. Also missing some other channels like a&e, history, comedy central. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

post your sat settings as they appear on your sat screen.
include info on what kind of LNBFs are on your pan and any switches involved.
yep ... LNB could be bad but changing it won't help if you have a bad wire or switch. Sounds like you are doing initial set up for this LNB/sat dish... could be your dish needs to be tweaked or your LNB settings are incorrect... as hedley says post your all your settings, plus your LNB & dish types...
One question. are you getting good signal on the channels but they are reading scrambled? IF so there is nothing wrong with your set up.
Switched out the LNB on my 110 dish. Rescanned channels and now I get PPV Movie channels. The only thing I changed was the LNB. It also seemed to improve my overall quality on that satellite.
So I don't know if this part of the same problem or not.... but today I noticed there was a thunderstorm rolling in and there went my signal on both 110 and 119. Is this a common occurrance??? I have BEV as well and this does not happen.
depending on your location & the intensity of the storm this can happen to any sat... make sure your dish is grounded or you may have worse problems...
So now I can't find 119 at all! So here's what happened..... I two seperate dishes. 1 with 110 and 1 with 119. 110 no issues. perfect signal, perfect quality. 119 on the other hand is a no go. Can't find signal and when i do it's locking to 110. When I find 110, how do I then find 119???
sounds like a bad switch. try connecting directly to the 119 sat with no switch.
then both dishes are pointed at 110
go with one dish use a y bracket or a 110 - 119 metal bracket it will fix it
What you should do is first take out the bracket and attach the LNB to the arm then look for 110, once you have found 110. Screw it down hard and then attach the bracket with both lnb's and you should have both.

This is the one I have
here is a pic
With bracket I have I have to put 119 on the right, that's the only way it will fit on
Unless I have the wrong bracket. 110 is on the main arm, but the only way the bracket fits is with 119 on the right, when looking from behind dish

Okay, that is a possibility now that you've said that. So the part with the lip will hold 119 lnb, and the open part will go on the arm with 110?
go to ebay they have what you need
So I have everything installed properly. Bracket on the right way, locked on to 110 west. 119 lnb has about 75 signal and no quality. Next steps?
If you are sure you have the setting correct for your LNB type... remove switch & run wire direct from 119 to receiver... if problem persists run same wire to 110... if still bad signal than the wire is bad. Use only RG-6 cable. If good signal with same wire then tweak dish or check LNB... put switch back in only after finding no other problem ... simple process of elimination...
